Have you looked at Jegs? It shows ship date would be January 5th 2017 if ordered today. That's a white large 1320. I did see that they have a longer lead time. RJS are in stock thru Jegs.

My Impact full face expires this year so I have been doing some research on helmets. I think spending money on the safety item that makes you function on a daily basis is worth a few hundred dollars.

I would really like the impact but cant wait another season, the rjs wed site says they are made at the same factory as bell. I wanted a bell helmet because they are local to me, but I have seen that they are made offshore. so I don't really know which way to go. If I can confirm the rjs is us made, I will go that route.

If US made with SA rating that will carry you till 2022 then this is about the best you'll find...if your noggin is medium....

Have used Speedway several times with success....they have Impact helmets in larger sizes as well.

I realize many manufacturers that used to post contingency payouts have stopped this practice, BUT.... this year with the 2005 helmets expiring, it would be "perfect timing" to post early (now-before Christmas) that they are paying contingency in 2017..... seems like a no-brainer!

Thumbs up Re: helmet

I buy Simpson Helmets and have been very pleased. I am not sure about contingency but they are one of the last companies to still be on the Manufacture Midway and support racers. Good people to deal with.
