So 2005 is the latest model that can run in pure stock according to the online rulebook.

Yes...this is because 2005 is the last year NHRA documented cam and engine specifications.
Sad too because some people want to run their new cars in Pure Stock.
Don't want to go the full route having to put a roll bar and items in a full stocker.
However Mike Baker has been good helping to sort out up to that point.

Here is another reason why IHRA is considered a second class organization. IHRA cant run anything newer than 2005 because NHRA doesn't have the specs.

Shouldn't IHRA be able to get the specs them selves? Rather than just riding the coat tails of the NHRA.

Yes
I have even I have tried to get them.
Anyone that has tried has run into a brick wall.

If the auto companies were interested.
They should make this information easy to get.
Do you have a solution?
If you can help I will be right there to help get them implemented.
