Smile "THE DUTCH" the real "big go" for stock / super stock Who's In?

So end of Oct. time to suit up in your warm clothes and head to Pennsilvania for The Dutch! A few of us younger Can Am'rs have made the trip the last couple of years, and if you love stock / super stock cars, this is the place for you. I know several of the "original" hitters in Can AM have gone for years (original being the nice way to say the old guys) so ask them if you dont believe me....its a great experience. Easy drive, great part of the country to see, and all the very best class cars in this half of the continent, plus Fred says "some of the best antiquing you could hope to find" Let me know if you are interested, I can connect you with a deal on hotel rooms.

Well, it was all we could hope it would be! Awesome weather, fast runs, good times and lots of laughs. Can Am was strongly represented, The Emes Team, Wally Clark, Vic Belemy, Brian Westbrook, Bill Little, and "Young" Robby Becker. Gene and Ken both made realy fast runs in their classes and let everyone see the type of high quality, well prepaired cars that come from Can Am, Brian is the new record holder in T/Stk (way to go), Vic strapped several .00 lights on his competitors going 3 rounds into an very tough Stock field (the old guy still has a few in him it seems), Wally was tough as always and took out several top racers from across the country in SS (not bad for a guy who learned to drive from the wrong side of a car), Bill was lights out going to the semi finals in a SS field of 88 (and winning the mileage award for travelling from his "house on the hill" to the starting line), Robby over came all the odds, and running his very well prepaired Camaro in "bracket mode" knocked out the #1 and #2 cars in the class to win, and followed that up by going 4 rounds deep on Sunday ( results fitting of a champion, way to go Rob). Lets double our series attendance at the Dutch for next year and see Can Am cars in the finals of Stk and SS

Good reporting Eye Witness News special reporter Frank F. Love to have gone with you guys but no IHRA combo's alowed. Hopefully when this new camaro is alowed to run some kind of crate engine in super stock it will open the doors for a NHRA GT combo or possibly a stock combo. Who knows. I would definitly build a NHRA combo if they would let me run a 3 speed behigned a 327/275hp motor in a 68 Camaro but for some reason they will not recognize the transmission as an AVAILABLE OPTION.
