Re: Donate to the NHRA Museum? Really?
Asking the higher ups at NHRA to take a pay cut is like asking Congress and Senate
to take a pay cut......never going to happen.

Re: Donate to the NHRA Museum? Really?
I don't know about you guy's but I see this as a great opportunity. A little like pay for play. I will donate one thousand dollars for a 5 hp reduction on my combo. Two thousand for 10 hp and so on. Just let me know who to send the check to. BP

Re: Donate to the NHRA Museum? Really?
I only raced for 3 years, but I'd like to think those entries and memberships account for my donation.
They know this is an addiction. They must figure it can't hurt to ask. Because after all, if they need donations for a museum, they must be hurting for cash, right? I survived my addiction and now I'll have enough to retire. |

Re: Donate to the NHRA Museum? Really?
Don’t think Sportsman racers were the targeted market for the email. They know we’re already bled pretty good so targeting the rabid JFR/DSR fans to chip in. I will say if you’ve never been and are in the area it’s very worthwhile. Some amazing history including quite a bit about Wally growing the sport from the dry lakes. Be sure to take your membership card for free entry.

Re: Donate to the NHRA Museum? Really?
On Dec. 23 there was a request placed for donations on DRC. It is listed under Drag News. Maybe they do need a few dollars. Could be that not that many people are going to the museum when in town, don't know?
