Are you talking about the replacement head acceptance or the fact that RJ gave Danny the bird?

I just talked to Pat Cvengros (sp?) at NHRA and he told me they don't have the HP yet but they were headed for a HP hit on Jun 30 if the average they now have is maintained. He also affirmed that the Mustang and Fairlane (Comet & Cougar) were all considered the same platform and are lumped together.

Looks like a 7hp hit unless we get them under control at the few remaining races left, before june 30tht. I know that I will take care of my car, as will my brother and his car.

Just because some Old Meathead with a Red 67 Fairlane let his ego get the best of him. Man, what a Dum-ss!!

Anybody that runs this combo be warned.....you are in control of your own situation!!

Hmm..Mustang and Fairlane the same platform? Is that right? Anybody know if the Sledgehammer was running the 319 or the 327 combo?

Rusty

The Meathead is running the 327 combo. What hurts us is we also have a 319 hp combo that Nolan Grier drives so we are trying to slow it down also. Pat said that the 319 combo (mustang and Fairlane) was also up there, not sure exactly sure where, but that combo could also be on the Hit list.

I asked Pat twice about lumping the Mustang and Fairlane combos together and he said its been that way from before he went to work for NHRA.

You need to contact anybody running the 319 combo and tell them whats happening.

Send me your phone number please.

that can't be wright mustang and fairlane. if that was the case LS1 corvette would be hit for the camaro and firebird running the same combo they must have hit it twice in each car.

Just like they lump the 67-69 Camaro's and the 66-69 Nova's on the same platform. I can't understand why the 66 and 67 Nova's are considered the same platform as the Camaro. Nothing interchanges.
