Default Engine info

I'm trying to help out my brother (Chris) with his '80 Malibu engine. I want to put an engine together for him, but could use some 'pointers' on Stock eliminator: rules/tricks/modifications to get him more competitive. Any info would be appreciated, feel free to PM me, I do know a few of you, we run exhibition at SSSSA events, and have a blast with you guys !! Like I said, I'm just trying to help out my kid brother Thanks for your help, BackMotor Mike

P.S. We did get the new motor in the rear engine funny car, looking to get into the 4's in the 1/8th mile !!

Default Re: Engine info

Build him a 2 barrel motor for Q/SA rated @ 180. I feel 12.90's are possible. 4 barrel at 230 is still good but puts him in K/SA and will need 11.50's as most run. Either way Good Luck and have fun. P.S. Most run Bowtie blocks
