Jim Davis Passes
I received this this morning:
It is with great regret that I write to inform you that my loving husband, James (Jim) Davis, of 35 years passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched. There will be no memorial service. Thank you to all who touched and brightened our lives. Sandy Davis I spoke with Jim last week and he was so excited about finally getting his 409 Bubble Top SS Chevy out to do testing on the "real race motor" for the car. Jim had brought the car out to race with us several times with a BBC under the hood to sort out the chassis before installing the 409 to race with. Jim with his quick wit and long grey haired pony tail will be very much missed. God Speed Jim, see you again. Jim Please take a minute and offer condolences to his wife Sandy and let her know you are an SSSSA racer. jimdavis@wildblue.net .

I too, received this message from Sandy.. very sad indeed.
I never met him in person, but we communicated a number of times through email and on the phone. Smart and FUNNY ! Godspeed, Jim Aubrey |
