Point of interest
I see my hometown National event here in Vegas. The quotas for Stock and SuperStock are already full plus one. Like normal for here more than half the field is out of division 7.Like usually all the divisions as of now are represented. Two weeks before in Texas there are 18 cars entered in a 60 car quota. Is it the track, Division, weather good food. It took 6 grade points to get in. To bad the field isn't bigger. The other half of Division 7 could enter with just a mere 5 grade points.

Re: Point of interest
You may want to check with Mike Rice or the NHRA head office. Jon looks like he has a shot at a top ten finish nationally. I think you can get a provisional entry for this at Vegas and Pomona. I could be wrong but you got nothing to lose by asking.

Re: Point of interest
Bob is correct, if you have a chance to finish in the top 10 you are guaranteed an entry in the final 2 races if you have the claims left.

Re: Point of interest
This is absolutely the stupidest business model I have ever seen. We, the sheeple continue to support it which does nothing less than perpetuate the fraud on a loyal paying membership. All the while many of you look down your noses at bracket racers who face none of this idiocy.
