Didn't expect that! I was waiting for the Mustang to leave in reverse.

Exactly why I never start my burn out till the car in front has left and the starting line crew are out of the way. Things fail and I do not want killing someone hanging over my head the rest of my life.

Blame belongs with the track crew for that one.

I was waiting for the Mustang to take off in reverse too. I had that happen to me once. I was sitting in the burnout box and the car ahead of me took off in reverse and took out the whole passenger side of my car. I never got anything out of him even though at the time he said he would pay for it.

I always wondered how it worked when two cars tangle up on the track. Is it an unwritten thing that if it happens on the track, that's just racing or has anyone ever heard of two cars trading paint during a race and someone paying? I understand when negligence happens in the pits someone is gonna pay but don't think I have seen anyone pay when it was an on track accident.

Ask Lori Johns, she pretty much killed Jim Van Cleve's racing career.
