Thumbs up Re: New Kid

Nice job on the build, looks and leaves great. Would you mind sharing how much ballast you're running? We're in the middle of building a 72 for F/SA as well...

Thanks,
Tom

Thanks,
Tom

We have about 160 lb. ballast with 50 lb. near rear bumper , the remaining is over the rear axle

Other ballast goes in the front seat.

Thanks...it has been a while since I figured it out, but for 72 I think we have to be at 3299 lbs in F. The car is set up for plenty of ballast if we need it, and we'll also have some extra in the front seat...

Thanks Dusty...I think I must have used the combo weight break from the guide to get an idea of where we'd need to be instead of using the class minimum. Would have figured it out eventually (or run 50 lbs too heavy).

Not a bad idea to run 30-50 lbs heavy! I am always 35-45 heavy. Jim
