Anyone have a photo of his car out of New Jersey. I've never seen it. Ed

Love seeing the 66 Chevy IIs, it was the first car I ever bought new (L79 SS). I have never had one since I enjoyed as much as it. In the 70s I built a 275hp automatic for F/SA at the time. I would still like to some day run a 350hp in stock but doubt that it would be a hot setup any more. Can still dream, keep the pics coming.

John Bubka has a nice blue '66 post Nova in Div 1. C/S 327/350 four-speed car. NHRA has it de-rated to 300 HP now.

Thanks for the photo. The 300hp sounds good except the one thing that, in my opinion, kills them, is the small carburetor. The compression and heads do you little good with the small carburetor. A 275 hp with the Q-Jet would be about as fast, at one time they ran F/S. With the 350hp you would have to run a 4 speed as that was the only way they were sold. Food for thought.
