Not really worried about et gain.. I just know adding 40lbs on the front of my car effected how my car works.. (still works good) just taking that 40 from rear and putting it up front was the effect I was trying to overcome.. and no I dont want to just add more weight to the rear to make the balance what it was before

Go Lithium has some nice lightweight batteries. 8 lbs. if your car is at it?s minimum weight already and has a good consistent 60 Ft times then changing batteries might no net and improvements in the ET. If you need to get 30 lbs off of the scale weight then it will be a good way to loose the weight. And probably pick up .02-.03

I ran an Odyssey PC925 for several years in my 68 Camaro, and it cranked a 13:1 SBC with no issue.

27 lbs. 900 Cranking Amps for 5 Seconds

Assuming this isn’t a bracket car like 1320 and has limitations, lighter batteries and other legal weight conscious decisions can help. Especially if track conditions are not ideal.

We used to run a light weight 12 volt Braille battery and it was less than 10 lbs. we didn?t use it for eliminator, but it was part of our prep for Indy and class runs. It worked well and was a standard AGM.

Total Power has both Lithium 16 volt batteries and lightweight 12 volt AGM batteries and are a Contingency sponsor as well as made in the USA.
