Thanks Ed, car came with what looks like a cheap no name brand aluminum water pump (sbc) and an electric drive kit with a plastic fan that really doesn't do a fantastic job. Looking to swap to an electric pump and electric fan.

I have yet to try it, but hoping it will speed up cool down time vs the cheaper 30gpm unit I am currently using. http://www.ebay.com/itm/CSR-901NHV-S...72.m2749.l2649

Other than that, I have never had a water pump issue even with the cheap units. Contingency money likely plays a part in many cases.

The Meziere pumps work well and last a long time.

Their customer service is outstanding.

My son had a water pump for twelve years, it starting acting up and he sent it back to them for service. It was back to UPS the same day they got it. The charges were reasonable.

I had them make be a flex plate. It was less than they estimated and a refund check was packed with the flex plate when they returned it.

I wish all companies were like Meziere.

I saw some guys on Drag Week using a brushless low amp draw fan that got amazing reviews so I'm going to try that out too. I looked for contingency on pumps and only could find Mezeire paid for flexplates, am I missing something?
