Just checked the conditions at the NHRA Lucas points race in West Valley ,Utah. The Air Density.com site says the temp is 48 degrees there right now. Just a little different for the Test and Tune at Rt66 Raceway Joliet,il. this afternoon.Current temp 93!!! But summer ends at 3:02 pm ,so it should start cooling down.LOL

Noticed the car count dropped in half in stock after first race?

Re: Hope they brought their Jackets!!!
They wanted to get the whole race done on Saturday. As a result there was no qualifying. First round was random pairing. The ladder they showed was for second round. A few of us did not like that idea so we withdraw and headed home before the snow started.

Re: Hope they brought their Jackets!!!
I guess they are finishing it today. Pretty sure they voted on it and today won out. The alternative must have been finish it at Vegas. I read where one guy that was still in , in super stock had to leave to go back to LA to run his business today. I also heard that they're thinking about running the race in late August next year. Maybe not so cold and wet

Luke Bogacki Motorsports
19 hrs · Quick update from Rocky Mountain Raceways & my #offmyrockertour. We're down to 10 cars in Super Comp in race 2. While officials tried their best to get the race in yesterday, rains came a few hours earlier than predicted & have persisted all day today. This morning, each class was allowed to vote & determine whether to complete the race here tomorrow or finish it at Vegas in November. Super Comp (along w 3 other classes) elected to finish here. So, we'll roll into round 4 tomorrow as soon as it's dry & safe. |
