"Live" from Columbus D3 LODRS
I'll be heading south-east out of the Motor City in a few minutes and plan to be at National Trail Raceway, or "Trails" as the locals call it" before noon. I'm looking forward to finally racing on the "new and improved" Columbus with temps that are projected to be uncharacteristically cool for mid Ohio in August. Stay tuned.........

Re: "Live" from Columbus D3 LODRS
Upon entering The track I noticed right away the New and Improved TRAILS...I arrived at 10 30 Wednesday evening and was quite surprised that there was no stacking, they let us enter the track and pit...WOW....New staging lanes, New track surface , more grading of the once deplorable pit area....This place has come a long way from the track that hosted the Spring Nats many moons ago....Congrats NHRA for selling the track to someone that actually cares....BRAVO.....

Test and tune is going. I'm not paying attention to any of the runs except my own for now. It's a good day for T&T with typical Columbus air but a bit of a tailwind. Lots of pit space left with the asphalt reserved for the fast cars.
Ditto on MJs facility comments.

Weather for today's T and T was a high of 86 degrees, 50 percent humidity and the baro started at 29.08 and fell to 29.01...,,For those that don't live around here, this is excellent August weather.....Mr. Lover, I have searched the pits far and wide but I don't think you will be meeting my friend Larry Hill tomorrow.....
