Mid Atlantic Super Gas & Ken Moses S/C @ Cecil Next Weekend!

Next weekend the Mid Atlantic Super Gas & Ken Moses Super Comp associations will kick off their 2011 season at Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, Md. This will be a great test and tune session for anyone who would like to knock the cobwebs out before the Maple Grove Divisional the weekend following. As everyone may know by now we will be offering up 2 races during the weekend (1 per day) weather permitting. Gates will open at 8am on both days with time shots beginning around 9am.

If anyone would like to park on Friday night Cecil has a Street Night / Test and Tune going on beginning at 5pm. Cecil may have a $10.00 entry fee for parking that night but, we are not sure. You also may have the chance to Test and Tune if you would like on Friday night but, not sure how the track will be since it's technically a Street Night but, Jim will have the track in top condition on Saturday and Sunday for the .90 Guys and Gals.

For Saturday the entry fee into the track will be $35.00 to be paid at the gate plus any crew members (this goes for BOTH ASSOCIATIONS).

For MASGA please go and find Lucky or Leanne Luciano at their trailer and pay the additional $70.00 to enter the race.

For the Super Comp Association please find Tom Boyle (All White Dragster) and pay him the $65.00 additional entry fee to race.

Remember this fee is to be paid per day so please don’t enter for both days all at once (If you have to leave on Sat Night or want to roll in on Sunday we won't hold it against you). You will need to enter into the 1st gate (Hot Side) of the track not Gate 2 (Spectator side) which will not be open for that day on Saturday. Once you pay your entry fee please cross over to the Spectator side down the return road by the time ticket booth (Where everyone normally parks for the D-1 Race). This makes it easier for us to pair cars up for 1st round and so on. There are select reserved spots for the Cecil County Bracket / Junior Dragster regulars on Sunday (Mostly up against the fence and a few spots in the grass) so please watch where you park or you will need to move before Sunday’s race.

On Saturday morning anyone wishing to test and tune before the 1st qualifier is more then welcome. Cecil County usually has an open Test Session between 9 to 10 am and these runs will not count against your qualifying runs so feel free to get a few time shots in beforehand. Tech will be in the lanes so have everything up to date.

The weather looks great for this weekend! 78 & Sunny on Saturday and 85 & Sunny on Sunday...so come on down!!

Just talked with Lucky, if by any chance rain washes out Cecil County's Friday Nights Street Night Jim will open the gates for anyone who would like to park on Friday night!

Uncle Buck WILL BE AT THE EVENT and THE PIG WILL BE cooking at 5am for the Roast after the races are complete that day!
