Re: What's Your Favorite 16v Battery?
My favorite 16 volt battery is the in my competitions car. Fairly good chance of failure. Anything below 12 to 1 compression will never see any performance from the extra voltage. The starter, the water pump and the fan running faster will never make a car go faster, but a bad 16 volt battery ( real common) will lose a race.

Re: What's Your Favorite 16v Battery?
We had two Turbo Start 16 in all three SS cars. Charged well with their chargers and never had a problem. This was even before the shut down feature to protect the batteries.
Took separate 12 volt battery with cord to run pump and fan in lanes if needed. |

Re: What's Your Favorite 16v Battery?
Check out our Powerlite Lithium batteries.
We offer several capacities from 7 to 10 pounds and have a new 16V920SS super start battery that cranks at 1500 amps and has 16 amp hour capacity. I would normally recommend our 16V1200 for non-alternator cars, but have been running this battery in my super stock car for the past two seasons and have been able to go a couple rounds without charging it in a pinch! It is an awesome battery at a great price. If you think the weight is the only benefit to lithium give us a call to find out more. |
