Or did NHRA make this decision just to make ME look bad?!? Or could this be some kind of a conspiracy set up by Charlie Bob and the NHRA to dis-credit me?!? Or could I be getting paranoid in my old age?!? Maybe I'm just bored.

Re: Class at Gainesville
Class Racing - 50th annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals moved to Baby Gators As a kickoff to the 50th annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals, Stock and Super Stock “class” eliminations will be moved one week earlier into the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Regional event, commonly known as the Baby-Gators, in Gainesville, Fla.“The Gatornationals is an iconic event and Class Racing is part of the rich history of NHRA Championship Drag Racing,” said Josh Peterson, NHRA vice president of racing administration. “We want every NHRA Stock and Super Stock racer to have the opportunity to compete for that once in a lifetime Wally trophy from the 50th Anniversary event. Adjusting the schedule to run Class eliminations during the Baby-Gators opens the door to offer more racers the opportunity to etch their name in the history books as a Gatornationals Class Winner." All Stock and Super Stock racers entered in the 2019 edition of the Baby-Gators Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series regional event at Gainesville Raceway will be eligible to compete in CLASS eliminations. The tentative schedule includes Test-N-Tune on Wednesday, March 6. Qualifying for Stock and Super Stock will commence Thursday afternoon, March 7. Class Eliminations will take place on Friday, March 8. For a complete daily run schedule visit nhradiv2.com. |

Re: Class at Gainesville
So I guess you can run class for the Gatornationals without entering the Gatornationals.

Re: Class at Gainesville
Greg, I kinda like that. I was planning on going anyway. Missed the season last year with medical crap, so they average 3 years grade points. That got me a 4, but don't look that is enough this year. I also asked about owners points with Kevin and Allen, but I haven't heard yet. NHRA has every eliminator in the nation and a few from Russia (Trump told me that) so makes for lots of cars. Anyway the schedule is No Problem, Mardi Gras, Gainesville, Houston and that takes care of March. Looking forward to racing, might need some help finding the staging lanes, but I won't have trouble finding the beer.
