Default Live from the Gator Nationals

Well we're still in our spot from the Divisional race so there was no moving involved. but today we begin getting credentials. The schedule is 2 time runs and 1st round on Thursday then 2nd round Friday and 3rd on Saturday. So what's it like living the traveling sportsmen life? Monday was laundry day, the same as being home but on the road you have to find a laundry mat and a way to get there (thanks Rudy and Ruth) and it cost $15 to $20 and a couple hours to do it. Then there's a couple days of down time. Thanks goodness the weather has been great and we had the motorcycle to get out on, so a short road trip was in order. But being creatures of habit we took a ride to a place we've been a couple times the Front Porch in Dunnnellon. What a great place to eat and if your into pies you'll be in heaven. The rest of the time is used to visit or go out to eat with friends that we may only see here and that's my favorite part. If Teresa and I hadn't been fortunate enough to be able to do this we wouldn't of met so many great people and Its the friends along the way that keep us coming back. So if your at the races anywhere and see the big red car please stop by and say hello. We love meeting new friends.

Just some random photos from the road.

Now this is a truck. Swap logger style

We had a good day yesterday getting done with the credential in the morning and a day of putt putt golf and go karts with friends Rudy and Ruth Mathews and Jerry Hatch Teresa and my self. You can imagine a bunch of gear heads on go karts could get interesting. Lets just say it got a little intense (but what fun). These are some of the good times I talked about earlier in this post.

Putt Putt golf Maine style

Lets just say someone did this to me

and they had a good laugh about it

I used my lucky round up already making it thru the 1st round. We're first up at 8:30 and the sun on the tree from the left lane is really bad so everyone will be in the right lane. More to come after second round.

The left lane is rough in the morning but I've been in it twice and been good on the tree. Just to let everyone know I made it thru the 2nd round this morning 3rd round is 8:30 tomorrow morning.
