Re: Contingency money?
Disagree on the VP thing, they paid all of my stuff.
Jiffy Tite is questionable.

Re: Contingency money?
Buck says that HRA dropped the ball again and again- both of them. But nobody's going to admit to anything Fed387

Re: Contingency money?
Still waiting on Sunoco and K&N from September's Englishtown race. not surprised as I didn't get checks for Atco's race from them until the end of October.
Most of the Englishtown checks didn't come until the end of November. It always seems the later in the year you win the longer it takes to get paid. I just sent them a "reminder" last week .

Re: Contingency money?
You have to be a accountant these days to claim contingency, with all the receipts you need to keep and all the registration forms you need to fill out.

Re: Contingency money?
Maybe everyone needs to start posting the slow payers after each national and divisional event. No one should have to chase the money for 4 to 6 months. Again it would be awesome if NHRA would help, but guess that is asking to much.

Re: Contingency money?
I've been waiting on Weld to pay for a race win back in June. I've never had an issue with Computech, Jiffy Tite or Sunoco as others have posted here.

I also had no decal for Edelbrock. They contacted me asking for a picture of the car with decal. When I said I didn't have one, they didn't pay (reasonable) but did sent 2 sets of decals at my request. I don't have very many decals on the car, but everyone paid that should have.

Re: Contingency money?
On the positive side of this equation, Calvert Racing was very responsive and the first contingency check to arrive (they have great customer service all around, so not too surprising!). The dozen contingency sponsors all sent a check within 5 months’ time. Most of the later ones were due to not having a W-9 on file – my fault. I do look forward to the problem of having to wait for contingency awards again someday.
