once again those people that have to make rational choices get screwed. the race should never have been started in the fashion that it was. now those that chose not to waste a 500 mi (one way) trip to sit in the rain, lose the chance for two races because the first was started just to try and salvage the bottom line for the promoter. screw them if they think i'm going to the make up date to watch the first race finish and then run one that would not pay crap even if you do win.

It just goes to show you how F@@KED up Royce and IHRA are by rescheduling it on top of an open so close. NHRA is just as bad if not worse by requiring everyone to earn "GRADE POINTS" to enter thier lousy National Events.

We watched the weather and choose not to go and I wanted to since I won stock last year. But it makes no sense to try to squeeze it in now I have no reason to go to the rescheduled one just to watch the first race.I have switched to division 3 ,races start later and are closer.I think they would have a better turn out if guys could race two races at the make up. Too bad I like the track and Royce and his crew.

There are 14 IHRA tracks that are located within Div. 1 . Why are there
only three tracks signed up for divisionals? I switched to Div. 3 also,
only because I did not go to MIR and you need 4 in Div. races. Last year
I went to NY international for a div. and had a great time...what happened
to that track? I like racing IHRA, but they need to think about their div.
races/points.

I suppose it is easy for us to second guess the people who have to make the calls.Only so many race days at so many tracks and it is probably hard to find a make up date that does not conflict with something.IHRA is still the best place to race Sportsman class. Can't wait to get started going to miss Rocknigham too got to work.
