Default Alligator Fight

My wife and I went fishing for a couple days. She said we had to get some redfish before I leave for Indy. Got on a bunch of redfish, but had to fight an alligator, about 6 ft or so. He chased all the fish to the boat. He bit one in the net, my wife had the net I had the rod. The fish got out the net, but I still had him on the line. The gator was really after this very nice redfish. My wife hit that damn reptile in the head with the net and got him away to get the fish in the boat. He came back for more so she hit him again. Only on the bayou. Alligator season starts Sept 1, this thing will be a purse shortly.

Mr. Teuton, my hat's off to you AND your wife. You Cajuns are brave folks. I've encountered only 3 gators while bass fishing.....2 were on the surface, one came up the moment I casted (during lunch break). I said to myself "lunch is over, time to get back to work".
