Looks like in the beginning of 1969,
NHRA factored the 69' M' Code 440 Darts into B/SA.

But early in the year, they were re-classed into C/SA.

For Super/Stock, the class factors were shifted 'twice' during the
year.
They were classed into SS/FA, then into SS/GA, and then back
into SS/FA.
(wt/hp = 8.50 to 8.99 class)

My 69' 440 Cuda 'M' Code was classed in C/SA.
From 1970 and on they were classed in SS/FA, until the 440/375 HP
was re-factored to 356 HP.
Now, SS/GA.

I think that's correct.

That 'flower design' on the front fender,,,,,,,,,,,,

Looks like the same paint scheme Goldie Hawn had drawn on her
during her 'bikini dances' on Rowan & Martin's Laugh In' (circa 1969).

Wasn't,,,,, Robert 'Mr Plymouth' Nance a Plymouth contract racer.
And got a 'sweetheart' factory deal for his BO-29 Hemi Barracuda???

Hmm, that's some interesting stats, but can you tell us a little bit more about your 1969 Barracuda 440 M code, or what happened to the hood scoops. What ever happened to the car after you sold it, is it still around?

KC,,

Despite the mis-information.
Dick Landy's 1968 SS/EA 440 Dart at the 68' Winternationals
won the SS/EA class, by defeating one of the 68' 428 Cobra-Jet
Mustangs from the Ford-factory team.

That car (with Butch Leal driving) made it to the Semi-Finals of
Super Stock Eliminator, losing to eventual winner Al Joniec
in the Holman-Rice sponsored SS/E 68' Cobra-Jet Mustang.

Maybe the first 'cloned' Hemi Dart,,,,,,,,,,,,,,1968....

Those guys must have been ahead of the 'curve' to get that car
together in 1968,,,,,,,

They look like 'sharp-minded' guys,,,,,,,,,,

SS/BA class,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
