Survivor Thunderbolts
I would love to see pics of the Factory built Ford Thunderbolts that still exist today. I've read 60 of the 100 still exist, with 17 of them restored by Randy DeLisio. I met Randy last week and found him to be a great guy w some amazing restoration history of American Iron icons. I found pictures of Nazy Crate but do not know how to post them , plus they are not mine, of course.

Re: Survivor Thunderbolts
Thanks, I stated backwards, 167 on back, lol. Even see a Far Rockaway Ford sponsored T Bolt. That dealer is long gone. I worked in the area at a Toyota dealer who also went belly up. Tough area. there is something about Factory race cars that appeals to me, and many more i bet. After meeting Randy a few days ago i have been looking up Ford info, my dad in heaven must be happy I am looking at Fords, lol.

Re: Survivor Thunderbolts
Bob it it true that Nate hit a deer. In the shutdown area at Englishtown? I heard it was with the Thunderbolt.
Nate was a great guy. I remember buying 2 drums of racing fuel. Putting them in the trunk, tying the trunk down and driving home up the Jersey Turnpike. When I went over a bump the car picked up the front wheels. Not having a clue how dangerous it was. LOL Those were the days.
