Just a few questions maybe for the engineers here, maybe.
I understand that tires wear away and you never notice the evidence. Do lead wheel weights "disappear" into the environment too? I've never even seen a wheel weight on the side of the road except maybe ones that a wrecker operator sweeps up. Is this a big problem? Where did the lead come from in the first place? Thanks in advance

I would think a bigger concern would be all the lead pipes used in older buildings and houses for water.

Personally the track discontinuing the drag race program doesn't affect me personally, got that out of my system in 2010. But I do feel for the current race croud and the town businesses who'll suffer a loss of revenue.
