Default oil pan needs for the Super 10

The oil pan is my last un-chosen engine component. Everything else engine wise is in-house or on the way.

To review, I am building a SS GT with 327 in a 1997 Chevy S-10 "Super 10"

I do expect to notch/modify the front cross member. Also, the steering linkage is in front of the cross member. In addition, I am using fender well exit headers so oil pan to headers clearance is not an issue.

I would like to hear what some of you use for an oil pan with SBC SS engines. I "think" and oil pan designed for an early Camaro or Nova or Chevelle or 3rd generation Camaro/Firebird will be a good decision.

Let me hear about your experience and photos will be a good thing.

Default Re: oil pan needs for the Super 10

I have the aluminum Moroso pan on both of my engines. Nicely built. Charlies pans is the high dollar route
