Cool Re: Not fit to stand trial.

It's funny how many states surrounding calipornia don't exactly welcome us, but it's understandable. They don't want liberalism to contaminate their population centers and over rule the will of the People in those states. They don't want liberal programs from surrounding states to change things that they feel has served them well in the past. They don't want higher taxes to fund and finance programs from outside their states they would find detrimental. Ever notice that when people in office push through expensive legislation, the people who get stuck paying the bill are the people who were there first and never needed it in the first place?
What if you had a nice home, it was furnished the way you want, you had nice cars, a truck, and an RV that you worked for, and you had it the way you wanted it, you have good kids that are being educated on your nickel, you have competitive race cars and a few trophies to substantiate that, you always paid your own bills and you gave to those less fortunate who deserve it,(like our Veterans), and some liberal outsiders moved in to your town, city, county, state, whatever (like liberals),started making demands, started taking over, started basically telling you what to do in your own domain, imposed fees, taxes, fines, assessments, whatever and then started attacking your family and way of life, implying that you somehow shouldn't have any thing at all that they didn't give you, and basically put out the attitude that you somehow owe them a living and everything else as well. How long would you send for that? Why are we any different?
A good friend of mine who passed away several years ago had a shop nearby, and his most common rant was the city-state,county, whatever has gotten into the habit of stepping in and telling him and everybody else how to run their business, and imposing new fees fines, taxes, hiring quotas and mandates, and all else. This was about 10-12 years ago, and if he could see it now! He told me once that a revolution might be coming, he wouldn't probably live to see it, but that I probably would. I hope he was just over reacting, but you really wonder sometimes.

I was even earning 16% on savings under Carter. It takes a few years for the government actions to really be felt and Trump was skewered by Covid, Biden prolonged the problem. It's now getting by better because he hasn't done too much. Elect someone Newsom and he can screw up the status quo with his hair brained ideas. Look what he's doing to Calif. despite what retired military (thank you) Eddie says. In Calif. most people work for the state, work for a union in bed with the democrats or are on state assistance. It's turned the state into 1 party control which is the democrat dream for the country. Calif. for the 1st time is losing population by those well enough off to get out and take their money with them. I'm next.

There are 38 million people in California, the most populated state in the country and the 4th largest economy in the world. I live in a great neighborhood, I pay my taxes, have all the freedoms that I took an oath to defend. Been retired for 10 years, I volunteer to help veterans. I have a great life and family. The greatest choice for change is your vote!

It was a great state, now we have more people living in poverty percentage wise than any other state. More homelessness than any other state, high crime rates all while paying just about the highest in the country in taxes. Under Brown and Newsom the budget for the state has tripled and they constantly talk about investigating big oil for ripping us off when the high price of gasoline can be traced directly back to their policies.
(Cap and trade is alive and well in Calif.) The legislature even passed a resolution to investigate taking over all health care in the state and coming up with a single payer plan covering everyone including illegals, only going to cost us about 500B.

I wouldn't live in any other place. No state is problem free!
