How about an update. I know that the thread on the Pontiac was time consuming and a pain in the arse but inquiring minds wanna know. I think this is a way cool combo and I know a lot of guys are interested in the build. Thanks in advance.

Probably will have to lift @ the 1000' so you don't get HP from NHRA

What for? Put some valve springs on it and buzz it up! They make 6.50 gears for a 9" don't they? What is life without a little adventure?

I just gave away 5.86, 6.00, and 6.20 9" gear sets for free. It will be interesting to see how fast it can run. Assuming 460hp (1 per ci) and 5000 lbs it should go 12's
