Re: Modified Eliminator Wars in the 70's
Also, I talked to Chris Padgitt at Comp, and they're gonna put a small sponsorship for it soon. Also, I think I will eventually get an article in Drag Illustrated once the rules come out. At least I was promised that when Wyatt Halden was involved, and I still think they would do it.

Leal B/MP Duster back in bare metal. The missing core support and front inner fenders have
been replaced. Extraneous roll cage pieces have been removed and the beat up front half of the floor and the firewall have been replaced. The cut up spare tire well was replaced also.

Metalwork done, the California Flash B/MP '75 Duster is now in epoxy primer and finesse bodywork will ensue.

Re: Modified Eliminator Wars in the 70's
They haven't came up with any rules yet. They have some wanting to just bring whatever and runnit heads up. It won't work, and eventually they will come to their senses. Will keep you informed.

Re: Modified Eliminator Wars in the 70's
One reason the California Flash B/MP 1975 Duster is so special to us is that this was our car in 1975.
It was a roller cammed 383 4-speed with a 5.57 Dana 60 and a leaf-link suspension. That Leal car was on the cover of the Direct Connection catalog the entire time of our build. Sure wish I had better pictures.
