Default Jan Cen Motorsports presents TNT Super Series June 5 at Dunn Tire Raceway Park!

Fourth of twelve events looks to bring record crowd

With the first three events for 2009 in the books, the Joe's Transmission TNT Hot Rod Super Series heads back to Dunn Tire Raceway Park (DTRP) on Friday June 5 presented by JanCen Motorsports. This is the fourth event in the twelve race sportsman series for 2009. "We're very excited to have the folks at JanCen involved with the series this year. They are an automotive icon in the western New York area and a complete fit with everything the TNT series is all about," said Ted Barnes, TNT Series Director.

Heading into the heat of June and racing at night should provide for excellent track conditions. "Our current record is 27 cars and we're looking to break through that at this event - which means an even bigger payday for the finalists," added Ted. See at 32 cars, the Joe's Transmission TNT Super Series pays $700 to the winner and $350 to the runner up along with the round money to non-finalists.

Current points leader Jamie Stoneman of Cheektowaga, New York is on fire. He's been in all three finals so far this year and is looking to continue his run. Although there are host of other racers chasing the 2009 TNT points title who may have something to say about that; guys like Webster, New York racer Sam Lovetro Jr. and his 1966 Chevy Nova for example. Sam has already won an IHRA Ironman this year and most recently, a Hot Rod race at New York International Raceway Park.

"Seeing the level of competition and the involvement from the local racers, we're happy to support the TNT series. It's a great way to give back to grass roots racing," said Mike Janis of JanCen.

In business for over 50 years, Jan-Cen Motorsports has built its reputation as the number one stop for high performance products and service in western New York. The home of 2001 IHRA Pro Modified World Champion Mike Janis, Jan-Cen specializes in a variety of areas which include race engine building with their in-house dyno, high performance products, snowmobile sale and repair, and ATV sale & repair. Gates open at 3pm for the Joe's Transmission TNT Super Series along with DTRP's regular weekly program on Friday June 5th at Dunn Tire Raceway Park in Lancaster, New York. And then it's back to Cayuga Dragway at Toronto Motorsports Park for another double-header on June 13-14th. Visit www.dunntireracewaypark.com and www.torontomotorsportspark.com for more details.
