Carguy49's Road Trip - Final Chapter
This is, without a doubt, the hardest thread that I have ever started on here.
Those of you that remember it, I did a road trip story about my wife and I traveling around the U.S on an awesome Road Trip in 2015. The trip was planned because my wife (Joan) was dealing with bone cancer and still is. Since that time we have had numerous fun adventures alone and with family and friends. The memories will last a lifetime. Now to catch up. A short time ago when my wife started Chemo again, after being off of it for a short time due to illness, I had a heart to heart talk with her oncologist. I was told that my wife had maybe a year left to live. He also said it could be longer or shorter, no guarantees. All others involved in her care confirmed the news. I knew she was going downhill, but it is hard to hear that news from a doctor. Her Doctors and nurses have been awesome throughout the whole process. She doesn't know how long she has and does NOT want to know. Joan has already given up her job and we are talking life one day at a time. So this year I will devote most of my time and money to help make these last months as fun as possible. To all my friends in Div. 6 that are part of the stock and super stock contingent, I will try and make a race or 2, if possible. My wife comes first. I am not here as much as I usually was. I will check periodically for comments from you. God bless all of you and please PRAY for my wife that we can spend as much time as possible enjoying each others company.

Ron, I’d like to personally thank you for all the help and effort you have done helping us at our combo races, I’m sure I speak for everyone. Definitely prayers sent from the Storms family. I know we have had some conversations in the trailer about you an your wifesbattles. Stay strong my friend, we’re all just call away.

I don't know you from Adam other than your posts on this site. I'm very sorry for your situation, and I don't mean too be to forward in a public forum, but please get Tommy Johnson's cancer book. He was dead man walking with a diagnosis of literally a month or two 15 years ago, maybe more. Its a bunch of non western medicine supplements that saved his life and many others. Sounds like you don't have many cards to play, so I'd really recommend giving it a read and a try. Just google it. And again, I apologize if I'm sticking my nose in your business when I don't know you.

Re: Carguy49's Road Trip - Final Chapter
Thoughts and prayers are all well and fine but do not change the outcome of a situation where our health is at risk. As Dan said neither him or I know you personally but It would be imperative to take his suggestion and do anything that might prolong your sharing your life with your wife. I had friends who were told that nothing could be done for them only to resort to alternative means after researching them. I wish you all the best no matter what you decide. Yogi Berra said it best "It's not over till It's over. Go out there and prove your doctors wrong for your wife's sake and yours.
