Default Cam Info

I am working on a small block Chevy, and looking for some camshaft information.I removed a solid lifter cam, with numbers stamped on the back. 290 06
CD 300 263
Competition
NN 8337
Think it is a Cam Dynamics, tried searching the internet but found no info. Anyone have a old catalog that might have some specs? Looks like about .522 lift by measuring a intake lobe. Thanks

Since no one else has replied I can only offer information from CD Catalog Vol. V from 1980: The only grind that comes close is Part No. 20871, Grind No. S-290 300-06 which is 290/300 degrees duration at ramp, 255/265 degrees duration @ .050", .540/.562 lift, .026 lash int/exh. It would appear that the grind no. is simply the intake ramp duration, exhaust ramp duration, intake centerline (in this case 106 degrees). This grind is listed as a competition solid lifter cam. Not sure what the 263 is! Hope this helps!

Crane bought Cam Dynamics back in the 80's . They can still grind you all the old CD cams . I would give Crane a call !
