Moroso question
Can anyone tell me, approximately, what year Moroso introduce their gold anodized aluminum valve covers and air cleaners?
Thanks, Doug |

Re: Moroso question
That's about right Tom. I bought a set in 78 or so. They had to be around a year or two before that. Yep, late 70's, Moroso valve covers and Cragar Super Trick wheels, you were a trick car, even if it didn't run well.

Re: Moroso question
I've got a pair of those covers fastened to the front of my trailer to stick the wheels of the motorcycle in . Got tired of taking them to swap meets and not being able to sell them for $20. Been on the trailer for 8 years, breather holes make good water drains, lol times change---Trevor

Re: Moroso question
I love those old gold Moroso covers and they are super light. Back in the day Reher Morrison, Grumpy and Iaconio all used them !

Doug - I think it was mid 70s. We sold lietrally hundreds of sets of those valve covers at the Speed Shack.

Re: Moroso question
Thanks, guys....the mid 70's were kind of what I was thinking.....Bob Don-do you (or anyone else for that matter...) know John Gray's email address. He was asking me baout pics of his Camaro when Lebrun ran it "way back then." I have a bunch, but don't know his email.
Thanks again for the replies, guys, Doug |
