Disqualified Jerry Emmons for excessive breaking.

Saw the video..
Emmons hit the brakes hard.
First the Nose went down, then the rear went up.
Could see no smoke but he did brake hard.

Do not know about this NHRA hitting the brakes hard rule.

I don't know if it was this run, a previous run or even the right brother, but in watching the All Access replay from Saturday Brian Lohnes said he could see both sides of the car from the tower when he hit the brakes...

That rear was up...a good bit...!
Safety is first...and the NHRA warning was out.
This was subjective call but think it was a good one.

Emmons hard Braking was not a Trifling Offense..!
NHRA considered it Reckless and hence the Penalty.

It was a Tough Call !!
I know tough calls too.
