It's great to hear 10 second cars actually shifting through the whole quarter mile in stead of those dumb delay boxes. The glory days of drag racing to be sure.

Good eyes!! Yep, that was Coleman Roddy. I can recognize most but some I have no idea. I had Lindley Isonhood bring it up on the computer and he could remember some of them. Wild that I was probably standing RIGHT NEXT to who ever filmed this video.

It does bring back memories. I made many trips down that very return road to pick up my dad's modified/comp car. Most of those guys were still shifting with a clutch and without a rev limiter.
