Re: HP adjustments after Carolina?
That is a FAST L/CM! We have run a 1972 Maverick in L/CM using the 302/215 @240 and the 302/270 @250 both great combos only difference is camshaft both use the GT40 P (Explorer, Mountaineer) heads. A little horsepower adjust will not hurt.

Re: HP adjustments after Carolina?
I guess now we will have to wait and see! So, as it is written, you can only receive hp from qualifying runs?

Re: HP adjustments after Carolina?
It doesn't matter if everybody is fast. The way the rules are written you go too fast you get HP. end of story.

Re: HP adjustments after Carolina?
Sterling, i wish they would take the weather into consideration but they wont. Atleast they didnt when they gave me the last 10 hp a few years ago at Rockinham when it was 1200 ft below. I could use that 10 back, if they factor the weather into it. Still good run!

Re: HP adjustments after Carolina?
He is running the 270/250 combo with the gt40p heads. That is the same combo I had in my 95 Mustang in M/CM, the same car that Amanda Justice ran in L/CM. He should have been giving HP last year, he went 6.99 at the first race in Florida last year. That is the best Ford combo on the list. I went a best of 7.10 in the eighth before I sold the car and a 11.31 at Rockingham five years ago. I know IHRA adjusted some combos last year but did not on some that when under. All under runs should be adjusted.
