Default Super Stock Roller Lifters

Hi All,

Asking for more information and/or insight into the various types of roller lifters for a SBC super stock motor that turns up to 9K RPM.

I know there are needle bearings, bronze bushed, and DLC bushed. What are the pro's and con's for these lifters? Obviously I am aware that needle lifters can come apart, what about the various bushed ones? Any reason why to run a specific lifter type over the other?

Thanks,
Avery

Had a reputable s/s engine builder
that he did not like the bronze bushing if your going to run lite weight oil when you need to go fast.

Personally have not noticed much lifetime difference between bearing and bushed, when either one fails you still have the same collateral damage inside. I have not used the DLC bushed ones.
