Re: Sbc holley intake
Richie…The old Holley intakes were either a 300-2 or a 300-25 (look on the bottom for numbers). The early 300-2's were shorter and were described to work better with manual transmissions. The 300-25 offered better design to enhance torque curve and referred for automatics. The 300-2 was advertised for 3500-7500 RPM and the 300-25 was 4500-7600 RPM. Both manifolds hold themselves to 8000 RPM. The 300-25 is the preferred design. Our results have shown a more broad torque over the Victor JR. (3500-8000). Hope this helps…Maurice.

Re: Sbc holley intake
scored ok murice...#300-25 alright. $100.00 purchase for my 350ci/auto bracket combo w/intensions of using an Q-jet & adpter on top. other than a basic port match i'll leave it alone...should work great !!!

Re: Sbc holley intake
Richie…There is a few ponies in the top just below carburetor flange a nice gentle radius in the corners and the runner divider edges generally need a little tidy up. But don't get carried away, use low RPM on the grinder. Good Luck…Maurice.
