Default New DRM

..I like the new magazine style of DRM..anyone else notice??..ND could really use a few ideas from this Publication. It's silky smooth.

I totally agree Robert. I hate the huge newspaper format of National Dragster. I guess they're better than they used to be (the extremely huge stapled together folded in half things that were always destroyed in my mailbox), but if IHRA can do it, NHRA can do it too.

Of course, that said, both are still terrible with regard to timeliness of reporting results. My uncle gets his Speed Sport News a couple of days after the NHRA races with up to date results and reports. Then, about 2 weeks later he gets his ND with the same stories. Other than the Dragmart and the occasional perusal to look at the sportsman results (pictures), I hardly pick my ND up anymore. Too bad NHRA doesn't offer a credit to competitors for an ND delete option...

The new DRM looks great! as for ND the thing i hate is you get the "PROS" one week & the "sportsman" (read second class) a week later!!?? why not put the full results in the same week's copy??

Because of how long it takes to put one of those things together! I was always amazed that they could produce something like that on a weekly basis. Besides, Sportsman racers get a chance to be featured on the cover and up front in the magazine the way they do it.

Haven't gotten my DRM yet. Looking forward to it.

We got our's yesterday. I like the new format better, with the color photos and better paper. I found the stories in there to be more enjoyable this time around - like the story about the Super Stock driver - can't remember his name but have seen the car. I'd like to see more stories like those.
