To DRE: Thanks for the offer. I'm not racing right now, but I know a lot of guys with bikes, and it's more and more of a concern to them. It's a bit unnerving to put your face about three inches away from a motor that's spinning at about 14,000 rpm. Just off the top of my head, something that came around the bottom, and up from and covered the head would be a good start. Of course, it would have to be two piece, because of the headers, but I'm sure there's a way, if there's a will. Anyway, I'll pass the info along to my bike racing friends, and encourage them to contact you. Thanks very much for the help.

No your real good, Marc.

Johnny Maggs Sr. is correct if your car is faster than 135 S/G rules apply, Hence neck braces, firesuits, gloves and chassis cert required etc..

Well all I can ad is this is what happened to me in the traps at 155. There was not a drop of oil on the ground the diaper held it all in. Nuf said...
