Did the vintage Pro Stock cars ever get to run for the big 50 years of Pro Stock celebration?

I wasn't paying attention.

There was a car (Nostalgia FC, I think) that went into the catch net and backed up the schedule.

Torrence Racing released a statement citing their lack of attendance at Pomona. It sounds as if they expected some kind of special treatment as Steve was appealing NHRA's decision on punishment. The fact is he got off really easy for what he did.

If a normal peon pulled that cr*p = He would never see the inside of a
Race Track for quite a while!

In the old days, If we had a headed discussion = I would make sure my hands were behind my back to leave no doubt
who instigated the assault and keep my hands to myself.

John, in the old days Connie Kaliita, Ed McColough(sp),John Force and a number of others would not have stopped or been stopped before the fight was bloody.

As much of a little bitch I think he is. I have to agree a little with there complaint that the fine was for action detrimental to the sport. Then NHRA made sure to publicize the hell out of the video footage. If it was detrimental to the sport you would think the NHRA would be burning the video and hiding the evidence.

On a side note Tony Schumacher was going on about how they needed to be there no mater what and how he would never do this. As he starts his second season of not racing. If he is serous throw some battery charger logos on the side and get out there. The Capco team is pretty much self funded I would think Schumacher has the funds

Have always respected how Lagana conducts himself, can’t help but wonder if he isn’t trying to teach his driver a few things. Actually suspected Torrence was too full of himself to attend any behavior correction course and simply dug in and is trying to teach NHRA a lesson.

But no, DS is too smart to fund a fuel car out of his own pocket.

You Sir and I are DEFINITELY NOT Celebrities and VIP Stars (Like the above)
that are important to NHRA's bottom line and that can get away with this sort of Behavior!

Probably just as well we are just peons and not Stars=

No Secret that you and I don't get along and
would have been probably mixed it up years ago !!

BTW: It is Connie Kalitta and Ed McCulloch is the spelling of their names.

John, I don't know why you would think we don't get along. Just because we disagree on this point. I have purchased parts from you, talked to you at the track(been years though). I follow and root for You and Jr..and only wish you the best. This in no way was or is meant to create problems. I was just making a statement that in the old days, even in the pro ranks, fights happened and usually worse than this one.
