Not saying you don't have a point and I can see that happening. What I do see though is more and more of the new cars getting hit with hp and dont see a lot of heads up races in eliminations. What I had responded to though is the fact that these new cars aren't winning the races like was implied in the post I had responded to.

AS Billy Nees pointed out.......

Last week at Island Dragway in Pro Bracket the fastest cars were dialed at 9.0 and the slowest was at 17.8 A 140+ mph vs about 80 and that is a 60 mph differential in speeds at the finishline....The 17.8 car was a street car driven by a longtime racing veteran and winner and all he would need was a helmet and a seat belt.

I never liked the wide ET break spreads that have gotten wider over the years....and Stock has the potential for similar spreads now more than ever with cars running mid to low 9's and well over 140 on 9" tires....

I dont know what you guys are talking about ?? NHRA Pro Bracket Rules are
9.0 to 13.99 if they are running slower cars then its a TRACK issue these index rules are there for a reason.....

Bob, each division can select it's own ET breaks.

Actually, if you want to " loose" 3200 lbs, put the car on an open trailer and don't tighten the ratchet straps down.
Then you'll probably "lose" it too.
