Default Going to First NHRA Divisional Ever- What to expect?

Hey Everyone,

Need some advice/feedback/prayers as my dad and I are going to the NHRA Division 3 event at Norwalk and I was wondering what do I need to know about it?

* How does entry work?
* Do I have to pre register?

*Whats Tech like? We have a Super Street car and a Super Gas roadster ( I drive both), how much do I have to remove (body panel wise) on each car?

*When I fill out the tech card are they looking for the same things IHRA was with SFI numbers filled in with expiry dates? or do they want to do that themselves after they look?

We have been to Norwalk before so thats no problem, we just havent been to a Divisional in the last 18 years and wanted to get some insight on what to do, where to go ect ect.

Any help would be great.

Thanks very much.

No pre entry, just pay at the gate. Fill out the tech card out yourself, they will double check everything. Just make sure everything is up to date, and you're good to go. I would say leave the hood and scoop off, and have a dzus tool handy if they want to see more.
Have fun

Andrew.....

No biggie.....I think you go through Linders lot and then....into the track on the caboose side.....

Tech is open till 7 on Thursday and at 7am on Friday....just look for the line.....leave the hood off....bring your pants and jacket....and helmet....license....and fill out your tech card...with the sfi numbers and dates the best you can....you should be fine....is your chassis cert good? And your license up to date....numbers on car etc...

Stop and say hi if you get a chance.....

You can expect to have the time of your life.
You'll meet a lot of new people and you'll leave with new friends you would never meet anywhere but at the racetrack. Have fun. Gene Abbott

Not because of Rock.....because of Super Stock....lol
