Racer Info for Labour Day Weekend at Cayuga

Hi all – Here is some info you’ll need for the upcoming TNTSS Labour Day Weekend double event presented by Bieda’s Powersports plus the first-ever TNTSS Trailer Shop/ERD Race of Champions.

TWO regular points races (Saturday & Sunday) PLUS the Race of Champions on Saturday night
Saturday’s regular race counts towards ROC – both as a qualifier and the points tally for the ladder
Only going to be TNTSS, Can Am Stock/Super Stocks and the DSE bracket program (there are 2 jet cars set to go down the track at 6pm and 8pm)...So the timing should flow well
Andrew Stirk has put together the bracket program – He’s put a lot of work into this and it looks good... so please support by double entering if you can ...we will do our best to allow sufficient cool-down time
Start time is 11am – WE WILL START ON TIME - DON’T BE LATE!
Driver’s meeting at my trailer immediately following 1st qualifying session
Classes will be run in sessions...Run order is as follows:
Street
Mod
Super Pro
Can Am
TNTSS
Juniors

We plan to stick to this run order so burn it into your brain.

NOTE – Brackets will get 3 time trials, while TNTSS and Can Am get 2 qualifiers. This will put the first round of the brackets AFTER 1st round of TNTSS and Can Am to allow more people to enter the bracket program.

The Trailer Shop/ERD Race of Champions
The Race of Champions will start immediately following Saturday’s TNTSS regular race final round...probably around 6pm...and finish by 8pm.
THERE WILL NOT BE ANY QUALIFYING RUNS BEFOREHAND.
The ROC will be run in 1/4 mile format.
The ladder will be finalized after Saturday’s regular race is completed. Any ROC qualified racer not in attendance will have their name removed from the sheet and everyone will be shuffled up (eg if #17 is not there, the guy in 18 moves up to 17, etc)
Lane choice to better qualifying position
I expect this will be a 5 round race so be ready for round robin
Winner gets $1200 and a special plak ...(plus bragging rights for a whole year!)
Runner-up gets $600
*** YOU MUST HAVE ROC QUALIFIER DECALS ON BOTH SIDES OF YOUR CAR TO GET PAID ***
NO ENTRY FEE – You must have won a TNTSS race to get on the qualifying sheet
ROC does not count for 2011 TNTSS points chase
