Las Vegas Turnout - Enhanced Racer Experience
Well here I sit in a huge parking lot with a couple of hundred cars. My guess is this place can handle 1,000 cars and there is a fraction of that here.
22 Comp, 48 SS cars, probably 60 Super Gas. The place is deserted. 3 time runs by 2:00 and we are done. What were they thinking? There are no fans here either. It is time to replace some of the management of NHRA, times are changing but they are not changing with them. You cannot live in denial forever. |

You would think NHRA would figure this out!!!!!!
Sometimes some never GET IT!!!! Not including SC or any of the sportsman categories at a facility like Vegas is just not smart. Look at the money they left on the table with all the room they have at Vegas. Just My 2 Cents |

We have this issue under review....hopefully it will get changed.....thanks for the report Don.....
when you lose S/C it really puts the hurt on the car count...because there is no class to fill in... just like St. Louis.... |

Re: Las Vegas Turnout - Enhanced Racer Experience
I just looked at the St Louis/Madison entries and it is looking better. Many more entries since I last looked a few days ago. Everyone must be holding on to the money longer and waiting to enter. We all must remember it always rains there this time of year which keeps some at home there also.

Re: Las Vegas Turnout - Enhanced Racer Experience
Thanks for the update Don
I was on the audiocast and I think Super Gas got 4 time trials. This is really getting screwed up. I agree with CBSjr lets get Super Street back. However we didnt have a full field in Phoenix so lets not beat ourselves. Regards Ray Carlson S/St # 67

Re: Las Vegas Turnout - Enhanced Racer Experience
Rumor was that everyone would get 4 time trials. I just looked at Stock on the NHRA results and it showed a 4th qualifing pass. With such a low car count I guess they want cars going down the track on Friday for most of the day.
