1967 camaro A/S project
Long story short I ended up selling my hugger orange 99 camaro ls1. And bought my Dads 67 camaro back that he just recently had sold in 2012 and he had ran in it super street with a 4spd and no electronics, and we tried A/S a few races. I decided to tear the whole car apart and make it very, very, nice. The paint and body is flawless and the car was already nice. I just wanted to make it super nice lol. So we tore into it last weekend pulled the small block and the carpeting to put the stock carpeting back in it, and I'll have my dad post some pics as we go. Its gonna be the 396/375 alum head motor. I have pulled everything out and basically a frame off deal and am having it all powder coated. We have got alot accomplished in just 3 days we usually work on it on saturdays.
Pics to follow soon should be a fun build.

I saw that car up close this summer when Jay had it at MAM (we raced each other first round of our stickshift race). That will be a beautiful stocker! Can't wait to see how it runs with the 375!

Re: 1967 camaro A/S project
We got the subframe over to the chassis shop for a few things , along with the rearend housing for some new perches. When I get all that back it all goes for powder coating and all new front control arm bushings and front end pieces. We got the firewall all painted this weekend, so as soon as everything gets back we will start to get it back on the ground and rolling. I'm sure it'll be a few weeks to get all that stuff done ,but it should be very nice!
Next the underside of the body gets cleaned up and painted!
