Re: GM 1 ton wheels
I have been searching for a few years to find a set of the 16 inch Budd chromed wheels for my Suburban. If there is anyone out there who is doing them, they are keeping it a secret! Most everyone, it seems, is using aftermarket aluminum wheels to dress up their dually.
The only two options that I have seen are buying a set of OEM steel wheels and having them chromed, or installing simulators. Once you get used to the look, the simulators aren't that bad, and if you live in an area where they salt the roads you'll be able to replace them cheaper than a new set of wheels. Chrome plating is not what it used to be! Good luck!
