Re: "Live" from the Dutch Classic
Yes it is 50 degrees this am here at Maple Grove. The morning fog is covering the hills around us. It promises to be a nice day with temps into the 70's. We arrived just 10 minutes before parking closed at 8. There is some fun and many stories in store, stay tuned or better yet, get here.

Re: "Live" from the Dutch Classic
Do stock and super stock run first round on Sunday morning? I have to work Friday night and Saturday but was thinking of making two hits Friday and coming Sunday for eliminations.

Bobby - The schedule shows 2 hits Friday, 1 hit Saturday and then class eliminations, Sunday eliminations. If you skipped Saturday you would miss class.

Re: "Live" from the Dutch Classic
So did Holbrook return for this weekend's race? Originally it was said he would be at the Dutch, but with his lack of appearance for first round on Monday I find it unlikely he would be back.

Chris is on his way. After all that rain last week he is looking forward to some sunshine. Check out his interview at NHRA stories on NHRA.com.

Those folks looking at that axle are Axleers which Webster describes as "Those that would exaggerate current happenings to one another". Applies to Racers, Hunters, Fisherpersons, Quilters, Cooks, and other competitive activities. And the term Highway Dept. Workers comes to mind, just can't tell who is the boss. Probably the big guy.

Looks like Jim Marshall just got the J/SA record at 11.10. More details later.

Re: "Live" from the Dutch Classic
In the past, the Amish girls, in their long dresses and bonnets, would come out and have a picnic on the hill behind the starting line. They might not have owned the devil’s contraptions, but they liked to watch them! (I think they want to see the first Stocker in the 7's, too.)
