Exclamation Need help finding a good chassis shop in NJ.

I am in need of some direction from anyone who can help. I have a 396 69 Nova that needs to get a cage welded. After some research i decided on an S&W kit. I am in the Middlesex NJ area. Could anyone help with a recommendation to a shop that does good welding and chassis work. I realize that many good shops will be busy at this time of year. Thanks in advance for any help. Good luck to all in the upcoming season.

Thumbs up Re: Need help finding a good chassis shop in NJ.

Try Randy, at Half Scale Dragsters in Phillipsburg New Jersey, About 40 miles from Middlesex.
The number is 908-213-0111.

They are great people and do quality work. If you haven't already bought the kit, they can make you one from scratch to fit perfectly.

He did a nice cage in Bobby Twynam's Nova two years ago and Bobby won the very next race he entered.
And that's a stick car.

Tell him Jimmie Carter sent ya!!

I have heard very good things about Carroll's Rod and Racecraft. I know they are in that area and a google search should find them

If you havent bought the kit yet I would wait. A lot of fabricators like to use their own material and bend the tube themselves.

Mike Pustelney did my roll bar and said he doesn't like to use other peoples tubing because you don't know where it came from and sometimes the integrity of the tube is questionable.

S&W has been around a long time and I'm sure their material is good but, check with your fabricator first.

If you have a kit from S&W, you might just want to talk to Scott Weney at S&W and see if he will install it for you........ OR........ you can give Kurt at ProStart Race Cars a call to see how busy he is....... he is a little further east on Rt 78 than Phillipsburg...... I think it's Asbury, NJ......... google for a number......
