Default sprag/spragless converter performance difference

what of perfornace difference will a spragless converter verses a regular sprag(one way clutch) any one experiment with both ?????? running stock for the 2009 season and looking for a converter thanks

Hi, There are a lot of different theories and applications for both that could get very lengthy. I know that they both have their pros and cons and depending on what class, combo and type of racing will dictate what is best for your situation. This, of course, is after getting all the specifics on your particular combo. I would be more than happy to answer your questions and assist you personally if you wish. Hope this helps.

You can not go wrong with Lenny/Ultimate Converters. Lenny has been around since Moses, in fact may have helped carry the tablets. Great to work with, give him a call and you will be sold..

Lenny I know I just gave you my converter on Friday but is my spragless, lock up converter ready yet?? You promised 2 tenths for Christmas.

I would say, it's probably best to leave the spragless units with the Super racers

Certain applications like throttle stop cars , high horsepower Top Sportsman ,Dragsters, especially 1/8th mile, mud boggers, sand drags.
